LONELY
Perfection has its mighty imperfections
They may see you as perfect but I see the battle of inner dissatisfaction
Keep your head up, you say; keep your chin held high
Don’t let your exterior expose what you hide
You’ve constructed a pretense but it’s just an illusion
Beneath this façade is both lucidity and confusion
By unmasking your reality, I could find all the answers
Or this unveiling could lead only to more questions
Curiosity has the best of me and I can’t let you go
The undisclosed conversations are what taunt me the most
Dear friend, being lonely will never bring you joy
Break down the walls that conceal you from the world
Leave the comfort of being alone in the debris of your barrier
Leave the past where it is, there’s no need to bring it with you
I’ll be right beside you as you step towards the future
Where there is no need for hiding
The imperfections in yourself are your true hidden beauties
It’s your flaws that, in my eyes, make you perfectly prince charming
So step out into the light, there’s no need to be so lonely
